OMA is an international practice operating within the traditional boundaries of architecture and urbanism. AMO, a research and design studio, applies architectural thinking to domains beyond.

OMA’s Rotterdam office is currently looking for an intern to join our Business Development department on a full-time basis. The Business Development department works closely with design teams and office management to actively research and acquire potential projects in Europe and worldwide. As Business Development intern you will organize, administer and maintain a continuous overview of potential projects, distribute request from prospects within the BD team, work on presentations, proposal submissions and creation of tailored portfolios. The candidate will work within our BD team and directly with Director PR & BD and BD Managers.

• Currently completing an MA/BA Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Real Estate or equivalent;
• High proficiency in English, another European language is a plus (French, German or/and Dutch);
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite with strong Illustrator and InDesign capabilities, to be demonstrated in a portfolio;
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
• Hands-on approach, self-disciplined and confident in a complex international environment;
• Knowledge of OMA’s work and the architectural field in general; and
• European work permit is preferred.

As an intern, you will receive a monthly stipend. The internship is expected to start June, 2020.
