Kreative Räume Wien - Service for vacancy activation
and interim use.

On behalf of the city of Vienna, Kreative Räume Wien supports and accompanies the activation of vacant spaces for permanent or temporary uses within the fields of culture, social affairs, creative industries, education and community work.

The office works on the interface between administration, civil society and the real estate industry. And offers guidance and consultation for creative space seekers who are looking for affordable spaces for their activities and real estate owners who want to put vacant properties to suitable use.

The Creative Spaces Vienna is a service and advisory office that deals with vacancy activation and temporary use on behalf of the city. The office supports and accompanies the opening of vacant spaces for permanent or temporary uses from the fields of culture, social affairs, creative industries, education and district work.

We are currently looking for:
ERASMUS+ intern in the field of project support and research activities (30 h).

• Project support and teamwork
• Preparation and implementation of research (Raumunternehmen, vacancies, off-spaces, etc.)
• Preparation of documents (text and image material) on real estate properties
• Support with content creation for website & social media
• Supporting events (workshops etc.)

• Ongoing university studies (architecture, urban planning, urban design, geography) or related studies.
• Interest in vacancy activation and urban development as well as art and culture
• Independent, structured and analytical approach with communication skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• This is a plus, not a requierement: Good MS Office application skills and knowledge of Mac, InDesign, Adobe, Photoshop, Wordpress

The working hours for the Erasmus+ internship are 30h per week for a duration of 3 months, starting 01 October - 31 December 2021, adaptations possible on request.

Place of work: Vienna.

Questions regarding the requirements for Erasmus+ funding can be answered by the International Office of the university. Current funding amount: 465 euros/month.
