About the Role

Ferrovial is one of the world's leading infrastructure operators and municipal services companies, committed to developing sustainable solutions. The Mobility Centre of Excellence will coordinate innovation transversal programme and support BU in initiatives in the field of mobility across Ferrovial (Cities, Highways, Airports and Construction).

What You're Gonna Do

  • Reporting to the Innovation & Processes Director of Ferrovial, will be in charge of defining and coordinate the innovation mobility Programme and to identify, lead, promote or coordinate initiatives related to mobility as a source of value for the company in coordination with the different related business units
  • Understand and assess main technologies affecting the mobility landscape (Digital, connected, electric, autonomous shared mobility)
  • Support BU in mobility innovation programmes and ITS Projects (urban traffic, tolling systems)
  • Identify, conceptualize and coordinate with BU transversal innovation programmes
  • Ferrovial Mobility community creation and content generation
  • Generate an appropriate ecosystem for the development of mobility across Ferrovial (academia, research centres, start-ups, large corporates, clients). Identification of alliances with the different stakeholders involved in the field of mobility (manufacturers, integrators, suppliers or public bodies)
  • Support to improve Ferrovial's market positioning through new forms of mobility, both internally and externally
  • Coordinate with BU Ferrovial´s innovation mobility strategy
  • Creation of the organizational structure, motivation of a high performance team
  • Manage communication with the different stakeholders for the adequate monitoring of results and business information.
  • Seeking synergies with other projects and areas of the company, maintaining a constructive critical spirit

About You

  • University degree: Higher Engineering (valuable IT / telecommunications) or Business Administration.
  • Valuable: MBA, e-MBA, postgraduate in digital business or similar training from a Business School.
  • At least 10 years of experience in consulting, business development, innovation or in business environments related to mobility
  • Solid financial knowledge and business development. Having had contact with startups and new technologies
  • Ability to maintain one's own strategy but adapting it to a changing and even volatile environment.
  • Essential very high level / bilingual English.
  • Analytical skills, negotiation, business vision and team leadership. Excellent communication and dialogue skills.
