Project for Public Spaces seeks an intern to join our Streets & Transportation team. Starting immediately, this three-month internship will take place January-April 2019 with an option for renewal. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until we find the right candidate. This is a paid internship with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
Transportation continues to occupy the largest geographic share of our public realm, and it plays a critical role in shaping our communities and people’s lives. When streets and public transportation systems are well designed, they do much more than help people get around efficiently—they connect people to each other, create special public places, help foster active and healthy lifestyles, boost economic development, and highlight local culture and assets. Our mission is to provide communities with the resources and expertise they need to create great streets, transit hubs, and transportation networks.
