The Sustainable Mobility Expert will support the MobiliseYourCity Secretariat in methodology development, capacity building, partnership management, and advocacy. The role focuses on developing and delivering training, coordinating knowledge exchange, managing Communities of Practice, and producing technical guidance for cities and countries in the Global South.
Design and implement capacity-building activities (workshops, online courses) in LAC, Africa, and Asia.
Develop and review knowledge products (guidelines, topic guides, lessons learned).
Lead and coordinate Communities of Practice and working groups.
Prepare and disseminate communication and technical materials.
Represent the Partnership at international events.
Monitor partner activities and identify collaboration opportunities.
Support partners in scaling training materials.
Contribute to Secretariat operations, meetings, and donor requests.
Master’s degree in transport/mobility, transport engineering, civil engineering, or related field.
Experience in urban mobility and transport; exposure to international policy or sustainability contexts is an asset.
Field experience in Global South countries.
Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes and diverse institutional interests.
Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Excellent command of English and French; Spanish is an asset.
Location: Brussels, Belgium.
Contract: Full-time, one year (with possibility of extension).
Start date: November 2025.
Employer: CODATU (French NGO), financed by AFD.
Work permit sponsorship possible for non-EU candidates.
€36,000–49,000 gross annual (includes 13th month and allowances).
