Critical Concrete's Sustainable-Sustainable Architecture postgraduation is a one-year hybrid programme combining online theoretical learning with hands-on construction workshops to produce real social impact through built projects.
Based in Porto, Portugal, the programme is hosted at MODU — a former slaughterhouse turned into a cultural hub — and delivered in partnership with ESAP, accredited for 60 ECTS.
The curriculum covers: Natural Building (rammed earth, raw earth), Sustainable Construction, Ecological and Social Cities, Vernacular Construction, Participatory Design Processes, and collaborative built projects.
The programme is 100% in English and open to international students from architecture, engineering, urban planning, social sciences, and arts.
