Do you want to showcase your distributed and regenerative design solution on the stage of Pakhuis de Zwijger? Respond to our open call and get your project noted, meet peers working on sustainable and social design and join us at the Dutch Design Week!

This initiative is organised by Distributed Design – a project co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union – and Pakhuis de Zwijger. Distributed Design fosters the role of emerging Makers and Designers as part of our new digitised world. It celebrates, supports, and inspires these professionals from across Europe and provides opportunities to support the mobility and circulation of their work to connect them with new, digital markets.

The selected programs will be shown on stage during our distributed design event on Friday, November 4, 2022.

We are looking for anybody, from designers to artists, researchers, architects, engineers, (tech)startups, students, makers, and others in the mutual quest towards a regenerative future. We will select at least six pioneers to showcase their designs on the Pakhuis de Zwijger stage and on our website and join us for network and workshop meetings, including an unlimited access ticket to the Dutch Design Week in October.

Pakhuis de Zwijger is an accessible, independent, and safe public meeting place for everyone. A contemporary 'talking house' with a strong online environment that has opted for dialogue as a form of conversation. A place where we jointly formulate ambitions and present different opinions and insights in order to arrive at creative solutions for the urgent and complex social issues of our time. Where we bring artists and designers together with scientists, policymakers, practitioners, and citizens in all their diversity. Where together we visualize the city and metropolitan region of tomorrow, test research results against everyday practice, and present technological and social innovation as alternatives to current policy and actual reality.
