About the Event

Primavera R 2026 returns to Barcelona on 15–16 May with an expanded programme of site visits, workshops, talks, networking events, and community gatherings focused on climate resilience and urban transformation.

Organized by the Urban Resilience Lab (URLab), the festival brings together grassroots initiatives, researchers, cooperatives, municipal actors, designers, planners, and local communities to exchange knowledge, build collaborations, and explore resilience initiatives across the city.

Programme Highlights include:

  • Site Visits & Workshops (15–16 May)
Explore local resilience initiatives across Barcelona, ranging from underground water-storage infrastructure to nature walks and visits to energy and food cooperatives opening their doors to participants.

  • Hands-on Collaborative Workshops
Participate in interactive sessions focused on different dimensions of climate resilience and urban transformation, including a confirmed LEGO co-design workshop exploring urban climate challenges through physical modelling.

  • Networking Event at Nau Bostik (16 May, 18:00–22:00)
Join local and international organisations for an evening of networking, live music, appetizers, and exchange at Nau 53, Nau Bostik in Sant Andreu.

  • Poster Presentations & Community Gatherings
Discover projects and initiatives presented during the evening poster session and connect with practitioners, researchers, and community members from different disciplines and sectors.

All Things Urban is an official partner of Primavera R 2026. We are happy to support the festival and invite our community to join the events, meet local and international urban practitioners, and explore Barcelona’s resilience initiatives together.

All events are free and open to the public, but registration is required due to limited capacity. Some MOMU workshops are managed separately and may have different pricing, as listed on the URLab website.

Full programme, registration, and more information available on the Primavera R 2026 website.
