What’s that green? invites for the Satellite event of New European Bauhaus Festival in collaboration with Roofscapes.

The event is hybrid. Joining in person or virtually, prepare to be inspired as we delve into the world of green roofs. For those attending offline, get ready to explore the innovative green roof at WOGENO in Munich. Following an open-for-all discussion with with scientists, green roof producers and local residents we'll unravel the potential of rooftops to become more than just green!

• Wolfgang Weisser, Studio Animal-Aided Design

We will explore the following questions:

🌿How does the future of multifunctional mass-produced green roofs look like?

🌿How to make them easy to implement and cost-effective?

🌿How to combine those solutions with the needs of the community?

This event is ideal for environmental advocates, urban planners, architects, scientists, industry professionals, local residents, and policy makers interested in the transformative potential of green roofs for sustainable urban living.

What’s That Green? (WTG?) is a non-profit, voluntary global initiative where urban practitioners learn through practice to accelerate nature-driven transformation. The WTG? Governance Lab focuses on exploring blended stewardship models - collaborative approaches where cities, communities, and other actors jointly care for and sustain urban green spaces.

We are currently looking for collaborators to co-develop this initiative.
