Real-world urban data: shapefiles, CSVs, geojsons, plus you'll learn to source your own data from OpenStreetMap, government portals and more.
What is the final project, and can I put it in my portfolio?
A complete, end-to-end GIS analysis of a real urban question: real spatial data, the full course workflow, maps and a short narrative of your insights. It's designed to be portfolio-ready: use it in applications, on LinkedIn, anywhere. Required for Advanced and Premium participants.
What feedback will I get on my project?
Advanced participants receive written feedback from the professor. Premium participants receive written feedback plus a 1-on-1 review call.
