What exactly is a City Chapter?
A City Chapter is a local community of urbanists, hosted by a volunteer Chapter Lead and supported by All Things Urban. Chapters meet in person to connect, learn and collaborate on city challenges.
How much does it cost to join?
Joining is free. Apply through your city's form and your Chapter Lead will be in touch with how to get involved.
Do I need to work in urban planning?
No. Chapters welcome practitioners, students, researchers and career-switchers across every discipline that touches the city. Curiosity is the only requirement.
I'm senior / I'm just starting out, is it for me?
Both. Chapters deliberately mix experience levels, and you'll find conversations, peers and opportunities pitched at your stage, whether that's a first internship or a leadership role.
My city isn't listed. What can I do?
