The International Urban Professionals Forum (IUPF) and Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) bring together international urban expertise and locally grounded knowledge to support more inclusive, resilient and sustainable cities.
IUPF is a global non-profit network connecting urban professionals, researchers and institutions across disciplines to exchange knowledge, collaborate and advance sustainable urban and territorial development. Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA), established by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2020, develops data-driven research, strategies and policies for Istanbul through collaboration with experts, universities, civil society, the private sector, international organisations and local communities.
Together, IUPF and IPA organise the Emerging Communities Forum 2026 in Istanbul.
