Show some love for sustainable innovation by following this link --> https://lnkd.in/eNk92wzi 🌱 Our first nomination, Dura Vermeer Inspiration Centre, is in the category of Commercial Interiors. This was an interior design project by D/DOCK in partnership with MOSS. MOSS designed the indoor gardens and a spectacular 4-storey green wall to provide oxygen-rich air and create a serene atmosphere inside the office space. D/DOCK used recycled wood and floor finishes construct an open and flexible workspaces with upcycled furniture, championing a strong circular approach. Congratulations to the D/DOCK team, Dura Vermeer, Furnify - Circular Design & Build, Lightboxx, Donkersloot, and MONK architecten on this incredible work! Our second nomination, Moving Islands, is nominated in the Flexible Design category and was developed by MOSS and Furnify - Circular Design & Build. The project was implemented by Amsta to revitalise the atrium of a nursing home designed in 1782, and it is comprised of modules with circular movable furniture capable of adopting infinite configurations to suit various needs. MOSS curated a meticulous plant selection that was incorporated into the furniture, creating green workspaces while Furnify - Circular Design & Build adopted an environmentally responsible approach to the design. Circa Amsterdam used the Moving Islands to bring adaptability to the circular event venue, demonstrating the versatility of the product in catering to a wide range of users. We are excited to announce our latest achievement: winning the tender for Plot 2E in Amsterdam Zuid with our artistic residential building 'Ceci'!! Teaming up with Being and Space Encounters, we are set to bring Ceci to life. This residential masterpiece features an impressive underground jungle and stepping green roofs, transitioning from a buzzing social roof to an urban farming roof and a 'secret garden.' Ceci integrates elements of hospitality, art, and culture, injecting a sense of wonder into the heart of a bustling business district. Our collaborations with Miro are never disappointing! We are thrilled to see our green design at Miro Berlin coming to life. We are thrilled to announce that the City of Amsterdam has approved the building permit for our project, Block 3 Hoogoorddreef! In collaboration with BurtonHamfelt Urban Architecture, we have developed a nature-inclusive design that emulates a rock landscape, fostering biodiversity with nesting boxes and green zones. Ground-level greenery combats heat stress, blending public and private spaces seamlessly. PV panels, shared energy systems, and rainwater collection system underscore our commitment to sustainability. Introducing Zandkasteel Amsterdam , a lively mixed-use destination that combines exceptional architecture, nature, urbanity, and culture under one roof. The green design concept, 'A Journey through Colors,' which entails a dynamic interplay of form and a playful palette of colors, is inspired by monumental architecture envisioned by Max van Huut and Ton Alberts. Embracing the diverse color spectrum of the architecture, our curated planting schemes enhance the colors in each zone. Lush green tones act as a unifying thread, seamlessly connecting all zones while integrating into both the existing architecture and the new interior additions by D/DOCK, effectively bridging the connection between the old and the new. MOSS partnered with Hoogvliet Beheer B.V. , Everglow Real Estate, Koschuch Architects, Studio RAP, and Koninklijke Ginkel Groep for the tender on plot 10b in Amsterdam's Amstelkwartier. This collaboration resulted in the De Smaakmaker block which places circularity and nature at the forefront. While we secured the runner-up position, we are excited to present our work.
