We’re looking for a creative and driven communicator to lead Centre for London’s media and influencing work, as our External Affairs Manager for Communications.
What You're Gonna Do
You will build our voice and reputation as a commentator on London issues. You will keep a close eye on the news agenda and be quick to react to emerging stories to secure coverage for our work and ideas. You will work to influence policymaking at all levels of government, writing ministerial briefings and consultation submissions. And you will plan to maximise our influence around key political milestones.
About You
This role would best suit someone who has already worked in a busy press office, in public affairs or a communications team. You will need to have an interest in how decisions are made about London and be interested in politics and policymaking. You will also play a vital role in building our relationships with new and existing sponsors and partners.
