Do you want to learn more about co-creation and design thinking and how they can be applied to the field of urban planning? Are you interested in investigating bottom-up and low-cost technologies to sense the environment? And do you want to imagine how these technologies support citizens in rethinking their own mobility choices? Then come join the Code team to work on the Mobility Urban Values project!
Through one of our European projects, called Mobility Urban Values, we investigate how co-creation and co-design can support governments and communities to rethink mobility in the urban environment. We are hosting several sessions were we help citizens map the issues in the local surroundings and think about measuring and mapping strategies that can either have a positive impact on their personal lives, or help change neighbourhood dynamics for the better.
We are looking for an intern that will divide the time over research and organising activities, expecting that they reinforce each other. You will be supporting hands-on co-creation sessions in the field and documenting the findings, to share with our European research partners. Ideally you will host one or more citizen meetups on environmental sensing and help shape ideas around sensors needed to monitor urban mobility patterns.
