CITYFÖRSTER was founded in 2005 and is an internationally active and interdisciplinary partnership of architects, engineers and urban planners with employees from over ten countries. Our team is led by seven partners and is located in Hanover, Rotterdam and Tirana. With our cooperation partners throughout Germany and Europe, we act as a cross-border and cross-disciplinary competence network locally, regionally and internationally. We design, plan and realize buildings, urban structures and public realm for the compact, socially and functionally mixed, multimodally networked, productive, circularly organized and climate-adaptive city. Our services cover the entire spectrum from the idea to the execution and project management. We specialize in strategic planning, international development projects and experimental, resource- and recycling-friendly construction. Our topics are new working environments and forms of housing, sustainable tourism, public spaces and innovative mobility concepts.

Are you interested in current topics in architecture - circular economy, climate change, construction in wood, transport/energy/resource transition, sufficiency, reuse and recycling, etc. ? Then look no further!

Your job will focus on conceptual and architectural design at different scales and for various programmes and building types; you will also cover the interface with urban planning and open space. You will work closely with specialist planners from the fields of structural engineering, energy, building technology, landscape architecture, etc., in order to create a holistic project.

We are looking for a committed and open-minded personality with a high level of drafting and design competence and a concept-led, creative way of working. You should enjoy complex tasks, new challenges and interdisciplinary work. Professional experience, also in project management, would be advantageous but is not a must - applications from graduates are welcome.

You can expect a permanent position with a salary commensurate with experience and performance in (if possible) full-time, challenging construction projects and innovative projects and a creative working environment. You will work in our interdisciplinary team at the Hanover location with currently 25 employees as well as a proven network of specialist planners.
