About Us
For more than ten years, the URBACT programme has been the European Territorial Cooperation programme aiming to foster sustainable integrated urban development in cities across Europe. It is an instrument of the Cohesion Policy, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the 28 Member States, Norway & Switzerland.
URBACT’s mission is to enable cities to work together and develop integrated solutions to common urban challenges, by networking, learning from one another’s experiences, drawing lessons and identifying good practices to improve urban policies.
About the Role
The Partnership Officer is a permanent position within URBACT's Communication & Capitalisation unit.
Three main types of activities are included in this unit, all of which are strongly interlinked:
- Capitalisation activities
- Communication activities
- Partnerships and National URBACT Points (NUPs)
What You're Gonna Do
Main tasks for this position include:
- Coordination of National URBACT Points (NUPs)
- Coordination with the European Urban Initiative
- Other communication activities
- Programme Implementation
About You
- A degree in communications, project management, public relations, or a field relevant to URBACT activities (EU affairs, urban policies, sociology, political science, transnational cooperation, etc.)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in particular in coordinating teams, collaborators, or national/regional networks
- Experience in project management
- Experience in communications (public speaking, drafting news, articles, et).

- Contract - Working time
The proposed private employment contract is for a permanent position with the National Urban Renewal Agency (ANRU). This is a full-time job in the frame of a yearly working time package agreement (215 days per year),

- Salary and benefits
The proposed hiring salary, based on the minimum required experience, is EUR 36 000 gross per year. It may vary according to the successful candidate’s experience.
Meal vouchers, complementary health insurance, employer participation in Universal Service Employment Cheque (CESU), 50% of Navigo Card (Ile-de-France public transport) or soft mobility.
