MVRDV is looking for the experienced and German speaking Senior Project Leader to guide the German projects in the Urban Studio and join our global team based in Rotterdam. You will be actively involved in the design of our projects and manage a team of designers. In this role, you will be continuously in contact with clients, the business development team, and other stakeholders. You should have experience with the design of masterplans and urban visions, supervision, and preferably with the design of public space, including affinity with the materialization and detailing of public space, landscape design, and plantations. You are also a good team player with a flexible mindset.

- You are native or fluent in German language and your knowledge of English is good (verbal communication as well as written communication) - Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design or Architecture. - Preferable 8-12 years but at least 6-10 years of relevant experience as a project leader on Urban Design projects is necessary to fulfil this job. - You have a vision of the future of Urban Design and you can relate this vision to others or other ideas. - Working experience in international environments is an asset. - Creative, innovative, strong design and graphic skills. - Strong AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe suite skills. - Knowledge of MVRDV’s work and theory is an asset. - Candidates authorized or with the possibility to acquire authorization to work in the Netherlands are preferred. - You are available between 32-40 hours/week and can start as soon as possible. - Availability to work in our Rotterdam office at least 3 days a week.
