Gehl’s Enterprise Team helps private sector clients contribute to building thriving cities using a people-centered approach. We use our relationships with the public sector and understanding of human behavior to help companies “do well by doing good” and find the win-win through investing in the public realm.
What You're Gonna Do
This position leads a team of Gehl staff embedded within the Urban Activation team of a leading global technology company. Known for pushing the boundaries of what exceptional workplaces can be, this program is designed to activate the neighborhoods and public realm where company workspaces are located around the world so that employees and neighbors can thrive together. We are looking for an experienced manager-leader, comfortable working at the intersection of multiple relationships — client, stakeholder, and consultant team. Positive culture building, accountability, problem solving and a deep understanding of people and place are at the core of this role. The client partnership supporting this position is renewed on an annual basis, therefore the position may continue or change nature at the end of 2023.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in a managerial role overseeing multiple staff and concurrent projects
- Familiarity with the real estate, property management, and development sector, with a focus on creating great indoor and outdoor public spaces
- Comfort working within a high level of organizational complexity and ambiguity
- Proven ability to cultivate trusting relationships with clients, stakeholders and across various levels of organizations
- Ability to implement and evolve an established program
- Experience working within the private sector to achieve business objectives
Candidates with a degree in architecture, real estate, planning, business, community development or arts administration would be typical for the experience profile of this position. However, as a specialized consultancy always on the lookout for unicorns, we are open to various life stories for the right candidates.
