About Us

Autonomy was founded in 2016, a year after the historic Paris Climate Agreement. Our name ‘Autonomy’ is a reminder that city mobility should function independently of fossil fuels. Through our physical and digital events and platforms, we have built a large urbna mobility community made up of both innovators and policymakers. We now combine our physical and digital assets to help our community of corporates, startups, cities and NGOs connect and collaborate on the future of urban mobility. Our activities include organizing physical events like the Autonomy Mobility World Expo (our annual Paris trade show) and the Autonomy City Summits (hosted in iconic cities like Berlin and London), as well as developing digital content such as webinars, white papers, articles and newsletters .

About the Role

Who we are: Autonomy began seven years ago as an annual B2B and B2G tradeshow and conference on sustainable urban mobility and has since grown into a world leader in sustainable mobility-based events and content. In addition to the Autonomy World Mobility Expo, which now welcomes 200 exhibitors and 8000 participants during its annual exhibition in Paris, the company has also built a highly successful content site and newsletter, develops innovative digital events, and hosts one-day conferences in major mobility capitals around Europe. Located in Paris and based out of WeWork, we are made up of a small, passionate, and international team from 5 different continents. Who we are looking for: We are looking for a motivated and creative content manager who loves to write, understands how to develop hooks and narratives that will capture our audience’s attention, enjoys collaborating with partners and clients, and is passionate about sustainable urban mobility. You will take full ownership of exciting content projects, such as developing, delivering, and promoting white papers and webinars for clients, writing thought leadership articles or conducting interviews about urban mobility trends and about our own physical and digital events, and creating short-form video content. You are inspired to pitch and pursue new content ideas.

What You're Gonna Do

What you’ll be doing: - Managing and delivering content projects from A to Z in partnership with clients (e.g. webinars, white papers, interview series) - Creating content around urban mobility trends and our events (e.g. thought leadership articles, interviews, and videos) - Managing a community of external contributors - Assisting in the creation of targeted email content marketing campaigns - Contributing content to the weekly newsletter You will report to the Head of Content

About You

Your general profile: - You have 2+ years of experience copywriting, managing content and/or content marketing - You are a native English speaker (B2 level in French is a big plus) - You are passionate about working towards a more environmentally sustainable future - You are creative and love to write - You are motivated to pitch new ideas - You are organized and can juggle more than one project at once - You are at ease working across different cultures - You are an empathetic team player, working collaboratively and effectively with team members and external partners. You have a strong knowledge of: - Copywriting - Developing new hooks and narratives - Editorial strategy - Project management - Tools you have an understanding of: - WordPress - Mailchimp - Linkedin - GSuite Would be great if: - You are knowledgeable and passionate about urban mobility - You have used Hubspot or another CMS - You have some experience in content marketing - You have knowledge of SEO best practices - You understand personas - You have social media knowledge - You have at least a B2 level of French
