About the Role

nextbike is the European market leader in Bike Sharing. Every day, we enable more and more people to share a bike and make cycling a natural part of urban mobility. As industry pioneers, we have been developing and conceptualizing sustainable bike sharing systems for more than 14 years. Currently, we are active in nearly 200 cities worldwide including Berlin, Warsaw, Glasgow, Köln, and Pittsburgh. In the UK, we have schemes in Bath, Stirling, Glasgow, University of Swansea, University of Surrey, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, and University of Warwick, and we’ll be launching in Portsmouth, West Midlands, and University of Brunel soon. We are looking for two Marketing Interns to help us bring our marketing to the next level as we expand!

What You're Gonna Do

Develop, engage, and stimulate interactions within social media through daily posts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter): - Assist with social media inquiries - Prepare marketing materials and literature for events - Assist with website maintenance and management - Assist with the collection of data and the development of internal and external reports - Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager in the design and implementation of marketing initiatives (mainly acquisition, brand awareness, and scheme launches)

About You

We are looking for two Marketing Interns with the right attitude and energy! We’re a small and dynamic team and work closely together to accomplish our goals. This is a flexible 20-25 hr/week position that could be perfect for anybody looking to start developing their professional career. Each Intern will have to cover social media one weekend day per week. Ideally, you: - Have a background or education in marketing, design, or communication (or related field) - Are extraordinarily detailed and organized - Ability to prioritize and manage varying workloads - Have strong communication skills, verbally and written - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop/Illustrator, and social media platforms are a plus
