About the Role

Are you our new Head of HR who can develop a HR Group Function to support our growing global organization? Gehl is in an exciting period of growth, requiring we strengthen our internal HR expertise. You should possess at least a cursory interest in Gehl’s purpose of ‘making cities for people’. Most important, we look for an experienced HR person, who will embrace our values and help enable our wish to continue to seek greater diversity in our teams to ensure cultural understanding and sensitivity, differences in personalities and skills, and to reflect the communities with whom we work. What You're Gonna Do

- Establish, develop, and lead an HR Group function - Point of contact for all employee HR related inquiries. - Establish, optimize, and implement key HR processes across the full employee lifecycle (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, contracts, compensation & benefits, HR Legal, master employee data, people development, off-boarding) - Select, implement, and maintain relevant HR IT platforms and systems - Manage Payroll and benefits Officer in Copenhagen - Identify HR trends and track HR metrics within relevant areas, and advice Executive Management Team on necessary adjustments or initiatives related to current practices, policies, and processes - Lead strategic people initiatives on behalf of the Extended Management Team - Strategic advice and support to the Extended Management Team in employee related matters. - Ensure master data are up to date and compliant with GDPR, global and local legislation and internal governance - Manage contracts with Employer of Record to hire people globally beyond DK & US - Ensure that employee handbooks and all people related internal policies and practices (salary, DEI and more) are compliant with relevant legislation in DK and US respectively and engaging Extended Management Team when necessary, updates. - Ensure access to relevant training and development offerings for leaders and employees by combining the most optimal mix of external preferred vendors, partners, digital solutions, and facilitation of internal courses - Support CEO with succession planning for selected business critical roles - Point of contact for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) in US managing payroll and benefits for US employees, as well as local benefits specialist. - Point of contact for Employer Organizations in Denmark (DI & DanskeArk) and pension broker.

About You

- Several years of HR Operations experience, preferable from an international setting, where you have provided high-quality support to all organizational levels across the entire employee lifecycle - Experience with developing and implementing new HR processes and policies - Strong knowledge of Danish employment law, and relevant global legislation as GDPR - Experience with HR IT systems, and when and how to best leverage digital solutions to optimize and standardize - Ability to reduce complexity and find pragmatic solutions. - Experience with operating via a PEO in the US an advantage, but not a requirement - Strong analytical skills and good understanding of HR data - Project Leadership skills - Ability to stay calm, and keep a positive attitude even under pressure and with short deadlines - Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English and Danish - Ability to see the bigger picture without losing attention to the details - Ability to prioritize tasks that matters the most and execute multiple projects simultaneously - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and work easily and respectful with people from all levels and all parts of the organization
