Helping people switch to electric cars is a global problem. We are a fast growing company in the UK and are planning international expansion, initially to Germany and then other countries. With learnings from our UK success we plan to validate the new German market quickly and build a fast growing business,

You will set up and lead the German business, initially responsible for demonstrating traction in the German market over the first 6 months with support from the UK before scaling German the team and business.

You will:

• Establish a market presence to validate the business model in Germany
• Secure initial business customers
• Secure sources of leased cars to access the best-in-market price and offer
• Develop relationships with required partners and service providers
• Manage the administration of the business including corporate setup, reporting and tax
• Validate traction with initial car orders and deliveries to customers
• Develop the growth plan for Germany and invest to recruit a team and grow
• Become the brand ambassador and company representative in the market
• Be part of our Senior Leadership Team, contributing to decisions in running the whole business
• Be instrumental in launching further international markets in future

• Proven experience launching and growing new businesses
• Demonstrated ability to sell to B2B decision makers (the business, as well as the product)
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic, growth, and business plans
• Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
• Thorough knowledge of the German market
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication (DE/EN), interpersonal and presentation skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Happy to get stuck into everything!
• Experience in Sustainability, Automotive or Financial Services sectors are a bonus

• Looking for: Full-time, permanent hire or 12 month contract
• Compensation: Competitive salary + very significant equity
• Location: Germany (Munich or Berlin preferred - flexible on exact location)
• Regular travel to The Electric Car Scheme offices in the UK
