About the Role

Are you an experienced Urban Planner that would like to be part of an international design office with projects all over the world? And are you interested in designing with an impact and like to influence the global urbanization through a sustainable and holistic design approach? At Henning Larsen’s Copenhagen office, we are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Urban Planner with minimum 5 years of experience to participate on a range of Scandinavian and international urban and master planning projects.

What You're Gonna Do

Are you our Urban Planner, we can promise you a versatile workday within an international design team and a large and independent scope. At Henning Larsen, we work cross-functionally with a broad variety of assignments and projects. You will work in close cooperation with our many different clients and external collaborators and stakeholders. Besides, you will also have a broad interface to the rest of Henning Larsen’s talented architects, landscape architects, urban planners, constructing architects, engineers and PhD students. As our new Urban Planner, you will participate in creating visions, concept and detailed masterplans. Your tasks will include programming, design and presentation for primarily mid-to-large scale projects.

About You

We expect you to have minimum 5 years of experience from urban planning and master plan projects working with urban scale and urban public spaces from visioning to design manuals. Experience with local planning, infrastructure, rainwater management and biodiversity is an advantage. Ideally, you have furthermore worked with client interfaces and can naturally take on the role as workshop facilitator. You have a background as urban planner, architect or landscape architect and can work in the Adobe programs Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign as well as Rhino and Revit. As a person, you are a team player with excellent English communication skills.
