About the Role
You will be part of the Public Policy & Government Affairs team. At DiDi we are looking for a candidate who can provide insights to develop and support our government affairs and public policy approach. This is an exciting time to be part of a fast-growing company that works on a variety of mobility projects including ride-sharing, food delivery and smart cities in more than 30 Mexican cities.
What You're Gonna Do
- Identify and analyze key policy issues affecting Mobility in Mexico.
- Represent the Company and defend its mayor interests before different mayor stakeholders like government agencies, industry chambers, non-profit sector, and academia.
- Create and execute advocacy strategies, as well as monitor legislative and regulative issues.
- Build relationships with policy makers, civil society and academics to address issues affecting the company.
About You
- Bachelor´s/Master’s degree or above with specialization in social sciences (economics, law, international relations, public policy and political science).
- Ability to work independently and openness for learning new tools and methods.
- Strong capability for critical thinking, communication and analytical skills.
- Have a deep interest in technology, politics and mobility.
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and political landscape in Mexico.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to convey analysis to different levels of stakeholders.
- Strong spoken and written English.
