ZenCity is re-inventing the way cities listen to, understand and interact with their citizens. The ZenCity platform is a decision-supporting tool for understanding people in the city on a wide scale. With the use of advanced AI algorithms, we analyse data from social media, city hotlines and many other sources, and provide local government stakeholders with detailed insights about how their citizens view and use the city. Basically it’s like “google analytics” for a city.

As a data analyst, you will be responsible for generating valuable, actionable insights to benefit decision-making processes for our clients and prospects. You will collect and analyze large amounts of data and will be in charge of deriving high-quality research products. The research products you will create will help the cities we work with create value from their data and support the customer success and the sales efforts. You will also be a part of constantly improving our client facing products as well as our internal processes.

- Translate data into actionable insights for city managers and decision makers - Create client facing periodic reports and on-demand reports - Develop analysis and statistical methods for reporting and insights generation - Work with Customer Success team to support existing clients workflow and onboarding clients - Work with Business Development team to build data products in support of sales efforts - Be responsible for data collection, validity and enrichment

- Strong analytical skills - Proven experience in data analysis - Be truly interested in cities and citizen life - An endless attention to detail, while always having the big picture in sight - Tech savvy and keen on learning new technologies - Fluent in Hebrew and English. Other languages – advantage - Past experience in data visualization – advantage - Experience writing queries in MongoDB or SQL- advantage - Basic scripting knowledge – advantage - Academic or professional background in local government, urban planning/public policy – advantage
