About the Programme
15-minute cities have been gaining a lot of attention lately, some positive and some negative. Some cities implement the concept considering 10 or 20 minutes distances, but the idea is the same. But what are 15-minute cities really? And how can this human centred approach to urban planning help create more *sustainable environments*?
This course will help set the record straight and give you the tools to be able to implement the concept in your cities.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
– Understand the benefits and challenges of 15-minute cities
– Determine potential mobility inequalities within cities and recognise its importance in creating a more equal society by using tools from the 15-minute approach.
– Apply the implementation roadmap to create a more human-centred city.
Who's Coming
The course is aimed at transport planners, students, designers, policymakers, and curious urbanists
