About the Programme
The Aedes Graduate Admissions Intensive is a four-week, cohort-based programme in Berlin designed for architecture, landscape architecture, and urban studies students preparing applications to leading graduate schools.
The Intensive supports ambitious candidates through focused work on portfolio development, writing and argumentation, presentation skills, and graduate admissions strategy, within a small, mentored cohort. It is led by Dagmar Richter (Pratt Institute), together with Aedes faculty and international tutors, and includes guest contributions from leading figures such as Sarah Whiting (Harvard GSD), Yung Ho Chang (HKU), Tom Avermaete (ETH Zurich), and Winka Dubbeldam (SCI-Arc), among others.
Participants engage in studio-based production, writing labs, and presentation training, alongside workshops, guest lectures, and study trips. The programme also includes visits to leading architecture studios in Berlin, Rotterdam, and Delft.
