About the Programme
Remaking the Street is a two-week summer school focused on how street experiments can transform urban mobility, public space, and everyday city life.
The programme combines online learning with two in-person weeks in Munich and Rotterdam. Participants will explore how European cities are rethinking streets through sustainable mobility, accessibility, citizen participation, placemaking, and street experimentation.
The first online modules introduce key concepts and case studies through Coursera and Urban Mobility Explained. The in-person weeks take place at the Technical University of Munich and Humankind HQ in Rotterdam, where participants will learn through lectures, guided tours, cycling, walking, public transport excursions, and group work.
Faculty and contributors include Simone Aumann, Dr. Benjamin Büttner, Ana Rivas, Dr. George Liu, and many more academic and practitioner experts.
Up to 15 places are available for external students to join the EIT Urban Mobility Master School cohort.
