About the Event
**Smart City Expo World Congress** returns to **Barcelona** from **3–5 November 2026** as the world's leading event for urban innovation.
Since 2011, the event has brought together city leaders, urban practitioners, researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, businesses, and governments from around the world to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and showcase solutions addressing today's urban challenges.
The 2026 edition is expected to welcome **27,000+ attendees**, **1,000+ cities**, **1,100+ exhibitors**, **600+ speakers**, and participants from more than **135 countries**.
Across three days, participants can attend keynote sessions, panel discussions, startup showcases, networking events, side events, and an international expo featuring market-ready urban solutions.
