About the Event

This webinar aims to introduce attendees to our most recent publication titled, "Athar Lina's Toolkit for Groundwater Solutions in Historic Settings” The Athar Lina Groundwater Toolkit is a set of guidelines for dealing with problems of groundwater and salt damp in historic settings. The guidelines are practical steps towards assessment, conservation solutions, extraction and reuse of groundwater. It is based on the experience of Athar Lina Initiative in dealing with these issues in the district of al-Khalifa in Historic Cairo. The production of the toolkit and this webinar is generously supported by Cultural Emergency Response - Prince Claus Fund
