Foster + Partners is opening its doors once more as part of Open House London weekend with a series of interactive exhibitions and workshops for all ages. Take part in unmissable workshops led by our creative teams, including 3D spirography, drawing, modelmaking, virtual reality design and painting with robots. Devices will be provided. *Building tension* Learn how forces of tension and compression work together to keep tall buildings standing. *Where in the world map* Match the animals and buildings to the climates of the world they are adapted to, or designed for! *Designing spaces in VR* Don a VR headset and design the cities of the future. *3D spirography* Learn to create mind-boggling patterns with a spirograph and help build our collaborative woven geometric sculpture. *Painting with robots* Be the genius behind the machine. Get the robots to paint your next masterpiece! *Archi-snap!* Use your wits and memory skills to pair the buildings with their corresponding details. *DIY neighbourhood* What makes an ideal neighbourhood? Make your own folded paper buildings to add to our big neighbourhood model. *3D printing* Take home a pocket-sized building!
