Architectural and urban planning utopias, uncompromising building typologies, urban landscapes as built experiments: In our city walk program this fall, we explore places in Berlin that impress, astonish and polarize – from the center to the periphery. We revive buildings that no longer exist and visit places that some want to see demolished, we reflect on heritage and memory culture as political tools, and discuss social and urban transformation processes as the results of radical planning paradigms.
